Ocracoke (CHALLAH) 2012

I am going to let this post speak (mostly) for itself through pictures...mostly.

The only change that this year brought was tiny baby named Annie and she was just a joy to have on vacation. She brought a level of cuteness to the vacation that did not exist before (no matter what Mark says). You can tell, though, she parties hard. We could barely keep up.

I caved and bought the below trilogy to read while on vacation. I am not sure if I like it or not but that's for another time. It's an entertaining read, to say the least.

He's sexy and he knows it.

Ok, so the below set of pictures it put on this post just for the simple reason that I found it uncontrollably hilarious. How many men does it take to fold a chair? Believe me when I tell you, this took a whole ten minutes of them standing around this chair making gorillas noises. If you run through the pictures really fast you can see the frustration. Hilarious.

This year the Ocracoke trip was shorter and a little last minute but it was still awesome. We even got in all the prerequisite movies that NEED to be watched during vacation. Until next year, Ocracoke, next year.

George's 7th Birthday Party!

Our little man, George, turned 7 on July 31st (cough-harrypottersbirthday-cough). This time flying thing is blowing my mind and making everything semi-sweet. This little boy young man is just flying through his childhood and it's frankly hard to keep up. That being said, if it seems like I have a TON of pictures it's only my attempt to remember everything about his childhood.

So, again, we had the party at Pump-It-Up because...well it's just easy and awesome and everyone has a good time. See below :)

SIDE NOTE: This is ALL Henry wanted to do. Just open and close this door. What a diva.

SIDE NOTE: There is an interesting story about this cake. The above cake was not the original cake. I commissioned a cake to be made that looked like legos that were stacked on top of one another. It was a pretty cool cake, complete with red velvet cake and cream cheese icing. So why do we have this lamo dinosaur cake? Hank the Tank. That is all.

Dear George,

Mommy and Daddy could not be prouder of you. You are calm, funny, patient with your aggro brother, smart (so so smart), beautiful, sensitive and most importantly...loved. We love you so much. We hope that this year brings you a love of school that you did not have last year, new friends, and happiness. Your father and I think it's just a joy and an honor to watch you grow. You make our family so beautifully happy.

Love,

Mommy, Daddy, Henry, that Dog.
